Where does EZ Ryde operate?
The first route connects Ottawa and Toronto, in both directions. Only departures published by the driver are available to book.
When is my ride confirmed?
Each departure shows the minimum number of riders needed. Your seat is reserved immediately, but the trip is confirmed only when that minimum is met. If cancellations take the count below the minimum, it becomes pending again. Refresh your calendar before travelling.
Where will I be picked up?
Enter a complete pickup address in your departure city when you reserve a seat. It is shared with your trip’s driver, not with other riders. The exact pickup order is managed by the driver.
Do I pay when I book?
No payment is collected through this MVP. Any fare and payment arrangements must be agreed with the driver separately before you travel. A seat reservation is not a payment receipt.
Can I cancel a seat?
You can cancel a booked seat in your calendar until 30 minutes before the scheduled departure. Booking also closes at that time. There are no automated emails yet; your calendar is the source of truth.
What if the minimum is not met?
An under-booked departure is not confirmed and will close for booking 30 minutes before departure. Do not assume it will run. Check the trip status in your calendar.
